Business Talent Category Visa Business skills Australian visa holders under the Business Talent category are granted immediate permanent residence upon entry into Australia. Applicants for this visa category must be high calibre business-oriented individuals who are expected to become actively involved in the business activity in Australia within a short period of time. Eligibility To apply for a business talent visa, you must: be sponsored by a State or Territory government, have had a generally successful business career, have net assets in a business of at least A$400,000 for at least 2 of the last 4 fiscal years, have had an annual business turnover of at least A$3,000,000 for at least 2 of the last 4 fiscal years, have business and personal assets with a net value of at least A$1,500,000 available for transfer to Australia within 2 years after the grant of your visa, be under 55 years of age or have been approved by your sponsoring state or territory to undertake business activity which will be of significant economical benefit to the state or territory, not have a history of business or investment practices which are not accepted in Australia, be committed to establishing, owning and managing a qualifying business in Australia, and
